If your kids are anything like mine, then they're always trying to taste the ingredients when we make slime… As you know, sometimes that can be an issue!

With these taste-safe slime recipes, you won't have to worry if you turn your back for a second

Here are the recipes I found and like:

Edible Chocolate Slime Recipe

It's no secret kids love slime, and it's an even bigger no brainer that they love chocolate

So when I stumbled into this edible chocolate slime recipe I knew this was going to be the first one we tried out. I have to say, this was AMAZING

The best part about this recipe?

Three ingredients… three! Once you get over the fact that it kind of looks like, well, poop… seriously it was so good and my kids and I loved making it together

It's cheaper than fudge and tastes just like it, you have to give it a try

Edible Honey Slime

Sugar pie honey slime, you know that I love you! I can't help myself… I love you and nobody else ?

This Pooh Bear inspired slime is only 4 ingredients, fun to make, and turns out super yummy. This unique color is a mixture between tan and brown, and can also give off a sandy vibe if needed

This is perfect for a Winnie The Pooh themed party, beach theme, or just for you and your little pooh bear lover to make together on a rainy day because it is so so easy

JELLO Edible Slime Recipe

Ahh the Jello loving phase… has this happened with your kids too?

I'm not complaining at all, in fact, Jello has a great amount of fiber and we oftentimes use it as a filler for an "on the side" in a school lunch, or cool whip on top as a little dessert at night before bedtime

Jello slime was made and now it's like I'm not even allowed to make it as a regular thing, it HAS to be slime

This is cheap, fun, and if your kids like jello and slime they will absolutely love this. But beware, you may never be able to eat it the same again!

Reese's Slime Recipe

So a quick story behind this absolutely delicious Reese's slime recipe…

My kids have been all about the edible slime lately and well, I'm always all about what they're all about (especially if it involves getting them off the couch and hanging out with me)

My husband came home from work the other week and for the first time ever said to me "can you stop with this project?"

I guess he was getting sick and tired of eating slime for dessert hmmmm…

Pickier than our kids much? ?

Well that night I had already made this Reese's slime with my little ones so he had no choice and he immediately took back his statement and said "if you keep making this then I am on board with slime food"

Seriously, this is as good if not better than the real MVP Reese's itself

If you're looking for one of the tastiest edible slime recipes then definitely give this one a try!

Aside from being so simple to make and aesthetically pleasing, this edible starburst slime could be used for pink-themed parties, which, for those of us that have little girls could be almost any party

The kids will love making it and it will be delicious too, what's not to love about this recipe?

As if I needed another excuse to be eating frosting out of the jar, here it is!

This edible frosting slime is so, so, SO, delicious

What I like about this recipe is not only how simple it is to make, but also that you can use any flavor of frosting you like. A wise man once said:

"if you can't stop thinking about it, don't stop working for it"

I like to think that's what I was doing here….

Candy Corn Slime Recipe

If I'm being honest… I'd rather walk barefoot on a floor of legos than munch on a handful of candy corns. My kids are a different story…

If you're a fan like they are or just want to dress up your Halloween decorations, this is absolutely the recipe for you! It's easy to make, fun, and turns out pretty spooky just in time for the Halloween holiday

It sticks to a spider web of white and you can put it in front of your door, next to some pumpkins, or you can just enjoy eating it like my kids did

Even though I don't like candy corn I still give this a 10/10!

Edible Marshmallow Slime

My kids are like Marshmallows, they stick to me. Even when I try really hard to get them off my hands… they just, stick there

Goodness, is it Friday yet?

But in all seriousness, this was a super fun and cute recipe and we thoroughly enjoyed making this together. It does get a little messy just because of the marshmallows but the end product is worth it

Just like in the tutorial we also added sprinkles to our recipe and smashed it between graham crackers and it turned out delicious!

Edible Cherry Limeade Slime

Get ready for summer with this cherry limeade edible slime recipe!

My favorite part about this aside from the fact that cherry limeade is my favorite canned drink? How red and aesthetically pleasing it turned out

This is super simple, fun, and is a great sensory activity for your little ones at home

My kids were actually mixing this into vanilla ice cream while we ate on the patio and I tried a bite and thought that was a unique touch to the recipe too

Edible Slime with Swedish Fish

Source: The Simple Parent

This is essentially like shoving a giant Swedish Fish into your mouth, and if you have kids like mine then they do this on a weekly basis anyway

I actually came home from work and my husband was letting my 7 year old see how many he could fit into his mouth?

Sometimes I really don't like to think about what goes on when I'm not home…. This is yummy, fun, and simple.

Plus, the recipe is pretty versatile so if you like a different candy more than Swedish Fish then you can make it with that instead

After we made the Cherry Limeade edible slime to my own request because I love the drink so much, my kids came up with the brilliant question:

"Well, couldn't we make it with crush or kool-aid instead mommy?" I did some looking and the answer is yes!

This recipe uses the drink crush, combines a couple more ingredients, and bam! Edible slime…

Glow. In. The. Dark. Edible. Slime. With, Marshmallows !!!!

This was my kids all time favorite recipe! Not only was it delicious, but what kid do you know that doesn't go absolutely crazy for anything glow in the dark?

I'm not going to lie, I thought it was pretty dang cool too. This is easier than you'd even think with only 4 ingredients needed

There's a famous quote "It's rather easy to shine in the light, but to glow in the dark? That's mastery!"

So I guess my kids can just start referring to me as master from now on ?

Rainbow Sour Patch Kid Edible Slime

Source: Teach Beside Me

My kids are like sour patch kids. First, they're sour, and then… Okay so maybe they are just sour ?

But seriously guys this edible sour patch kids slime recipe does turn out sour but very sweet and delicious too! (much like the candy itself)

This is very simple to make, and your kids will love this. What I liked most about this slime recipe is that you separate the colors beforehand so you get all of the different flavors and colors in each little batch of slime made

This one won't disappoint you, check out how it's made!

Edible Bubble Gum Slime

Source: Teach Beside Me

Big hubba bubba bubblegum fan over here, huge

I grew up on trips to the store begging my parents for bubble tape, hubba bubba, bubble yum, blow pops, basically whatever I could get my hands on to make the largest bubble known to man

Couldn't tell you why, but what I do know is that my kids do the exact same thing. If I would have known about this edible bubble gum slime back when I was a kid I would have been all over it!

This is worth the activity, and it just takes a few simple ingredients to do it! Make your biggest bubble yet!
